Terms and Conditions

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings and stays at properties managed by Destination8 Ltd (hereinafter "d8"), registered in England (Company No. 11807827) at 56 Leman Street, London, E18EU.

Essential Information

Standard check-in time commences at 3:00 PM, and check-out is required by 11:00 AM. A security deposit of up to £500 is required for all bookings, refundable within 48 hours post-departure, subject to satisfactory property inspection. All properties maintain a strict non-smoking policy, and no pets are permitted except for registered service animals.

Booking and Payment

Upon confirmation of booking, a binding agreement is formed between the guest and d8. The rate confirmed at the time of booking is final. This agreement constitutes a short-term accommodation arrangement and does not create any tenancy rights. The security deposit may be retained to cover damages, additional cleaning requirements, or late departure fees.

Guest Responsibilities

Guests shall maintain the property and its contents in good order and report any damage promptly. Smoking within the premises is strictly prohibited and will incur a £150 penalty fee. Unauthorized parties or gatherings resulting in disturbance or property damage will incur a minimum fee of £1000. Guests are required to maintain reasonable cleanliness standards and comply with all house rules.

Property Usage

The property is designated for residential use only. Social gatherings, parties, and activities causing excessive noise or neighbour's disturbance are strictly prohibited. Occupancy must not exceed the maximum capacity stated in the booking confirmation.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms are specific to the booking platform utilized (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.). All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Specific terms are detailed in the booking confirmation document.

Issue Resolution

Any issues arising during the stay must be reported immediately to d8 management. We commit to addressing problems promptly and reasonably. Post-departure complaints must be submitted via email within 14 days of check-out.

Lost Property

Items left at the property will be retained for 30 days. Return shipping can be arranged for an administrative fee of £10 plus postage costs. Unclaimed items will be donated to charity after the retention period.

Management Rights

d8 reserves the right to:

• Access the property for legitimate purposes with reasonable notice
• Cancel or modify bookings due to circumstances beyond our control
• Decline reservations at our discretion
• Charge for damages exceeding the security deposit

Liability

While d8 maintains high standards of property care, we cannot accept liability for loss or damage to guest belongings unless resulting from our negligence. Guests are liable for any damage caused by themselves or their visitors during the stay.

The following charges may be applied:

• Smoking violation: £150
• Unauthorized parties/property damage: Minimum £1000
• Additional cleaning requirements
• Late check-out fees
• Damages exceeding security deposit
